Ochis frames are plastic-free and made from recycled coffee grounds — a sustainable alternative to conventional eyewear. Each pair is handcrafted, making it unique.

The Details

Each pair carries a subtle, natural coffee aroma — a signature of the material itself. Frames are waterproof, lightweight (~49g) and built for daily wear.

In the box: your glasses with lenses, a solid coffee hard case, a lens cloth, an instruction manual and a delivery box.

Care: store in the hard case, take them on and off with both hands, never rest them lens-down, and keep away from high heat.

Warranty: 2 years.

Bio-Composite Frames: Crafted from an eco-friendly coffee bio-composite with an internal metal core for daily durability.
Responsible Optics: High-performance cellulose triacetate lenses (currently the most responsible choice on the market). Note: Lenses are not biodegradable.
Hydrophobic Coating: Water-repellent layer built to withstand sweat, snow, and daily wear.

Care

Aroma Maintenance: The natural coffee scent fades over a few weeks. Keep frames in their case to hold the aroma longer, or refresh with a drop of natural oil.
Water & Handling: Resilient to active daily life, but avoid leaving them submerged in water for extended periods. Treat them as a valuable item.
Correct Disposal: This is an industrial bio-composite, not backyard garden compost. Proper disposal ensures it decomposes under the right conditions.
